It was a delight to host a safe and engaging Resilient through Fire event last week at the 4-H Center, featuring over 60 in-person participants and many more joining via livestream.
Please check out professional event photos and a recording of the program at the event page: go.osu.edu/epnsept21
In-person and virtual attendees shared that, overall, the educational components of the program were very good and listed positive responses from what they took from the program. About half of attendees surveyed directly use the content from the program in their current work or career field, and our virtual audience indicated they had the ability to ask questions and experienced no technical issues in viewing and hearing the program. For many of us it was frankly great to connect with fellow environmental professionals, enthusiasts and students around a shared table again!
Next month we have another great hybrid event lined up back at Ohio State’s 4-H Center for Tuesday, October 12’s Growing the Future of Agriculture: Conversations with Black Farmers and Educators.
