Happy Summer, EPN!
We had a great field trip and tour of learning sites around Westerville, Ohio, including the Frank Museum of Art and Otterbein Lake, last week celebrating the art and science of prairie habitat conservation in central Ohio.
Checkout professional photos from this program here featuring the various indoor and outdoor learning sites and of the dozens of environmental professionals who participated and facilitated.
We’re also very excited to share an original plant identification visual aid, developed by Jenny Adkins (Professional Wetland Scientist and Lead Botanist, MAD Scientist Associates) with support from Duane Gandelot (SENR Communications Program Coordinator), which utilizes the seed vibration images created by Cadine Navarro (Harvard Graduate School of Design) for each of the nine featured plants.
Click here to view and download an aesthetically beautiful, field-and garden store-ready identification guide for Wild Bergamot, Big Blue Stem, Echinacea, Little Blue Stem, Dogbane, Switch Grass, Milkweed, and Black-eyed Susan.
Best wishes in the warm weeks ahead.
